I understand what you mean when you speak...Hi Alan<br /><br />I understand what you mean when you speak of the deterioration of Chinese wheatland soil due to overuse of fertilisers. Our home stands on land which, until 25 years back constituted sugar cane fields. That whole process is heavily driven by application of artificial fertilisers. As a result, our slice of land provides us with a stubbly lawn and just about no vegetable-growing potential.
