Colombo 18C, Batticaloa 16C (at sea level) and Nuwara Eliya 07C (at 1780m above sea level). This might not be much for those in far North, but this is quite cold for a country just 07 degrees North of the equator. We also had the worst floods since 1957, displacing 900,000 people, destroying much of the rice harvest and breaching bunds of 400 irrigation reservoirs. The flood was such that an elephant calf was found dead on a tree 15feet above ground!)┐https://www.blogger.com/profile/04712116326056697810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-196554259323465442.post-92080970351980240072011-01-27T16:33:30.129-08:002011-01-27T16:33:30.129-08:00@Ronbo: I don't know about you guys, but this ...@Ronbo: I don't know about you guys, but this one is read on a lot of websites/blogs around the world...so maybe someone out there is getting the message...I hope!Alan Carubahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10901162110385985193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-196554259323465442.post-86855311108478712172011-01-27T16:07:48.784-08:002011-01-27T16:07:48.784-08:00"Unlike yourself, I doubt that most Americans..."Unlike yourself, I doubt that most Americans and others around the world realize what lays ahead."

@Alan:

You, me and Larry know the shape of things to come because we think outside the box.

Unfortunately we are voices crying in the wilderness.Ronbohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02767498198886077632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-196554259323465442.post-75719710811407269742011-01-27T15:58:26.404-08:002011-01-27T15:58:26.404-08:00@Larry. Large earthquakes and large volcanic eruptions are occurring at a rapid rate. Large volcanic eruptions eject large amounts of fine particulate matter into the atmosphere (as well as toxic gases), and this particulate matter reflects the incoming radiation from the sun back into space. It will take time for that particulate matter to reach the US/Europe, but it will arrive about a year after an eruption, further cooling the air, ground and bodies of water.

To add to our woes, the prices of foodstuffs are rapidly increasing throughout the world due to many reasons.

The prospects for a good harvest this next year are not looking good, and there is a good probability that great famines around the world will occur this coming year, which will destabilize many governments.LarryOldtimerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10811006386363706079noreply@blogger.com
