I really think that is a clear depiction of society. Sancho Panza left his comfortable home and family to follow a man that was clearly insane.

Society follows those who espouse policies that are economically disastrous; not to mention that they are misanthropically insane.

As for benefits to the environment; it is only the industrialized and technically advanced nations that can afford good environmental policies. History is clear on this.

So what drives the media, the political leaders to support such maniacal policies? They are corrupt! What drives society to buy into this stuff? They have been lied to by every major institution in the world.

We must stop believing the madness of insane people!Rich Kozlovichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13745960671409518147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-196554259323465442.post-14164762067358313002012-07-25T05:01:25.252-07:002012-07-25T05:01:25.252-07:00Tony, it is unfortunate that Australia has to be t...Tony, it is unfortunate that Australia has to be the poster child for the evil that Greens do.Alan Carubahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10901162110385985193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-196554259323465442.post-79056531018980188752012-07-25T00:30:29.932-07:002012-07-25T00:30:29.932-07:00Alan,

This iniquitous huge new tax has been in place now for barely weeks.

All electrical power providers have put up their prices for the electricity they provide.

While part of the residential sector was partially compensated, that sector makes up only 38% of all power consumption, so every consumer has suffered increases in the cost of their electricity.

You also highlighted the increases in other areas as well, and this is worked out using a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) equivalency ratio, based on the original UNIPCC, UNFCCC, GHG equivalence, in other words how (allegedly) volatile that gas may be when compared to CO2.

I have a link below to an image for that equivalence, and this is taken directly from the Australian Legislation.

There are 24 Gases listed and that number down the right hand side is the multiplier.

The price imposed on CO2 is initially $23 per tonne, rising each of the next three years until the ETS is initiated. Also keep in mind that the current Australian Dollar is close to parity with the U.S. Dollar.

So, where you see that multiplier number on the right of each of those gases, that is $23 multiplied by that number, and some are in the thousands and tens of thousands.

Where you see Methane and its multiplier of 21, keep in mind this is the Natural Gas supplied to households as their gas supply.

The price of supplied gas to residences that have town or bottled gas has risen by around 12%.

The cost of electricity for all Australian States has risen by between 10% and 15%. Keep in mind that now, the unit price per electricity is between 24 and 27 cents per KiloWattHour (KWH).

While the cost in the U.S. varies from State to State, currently no U.S. State pays as much per KWH as the average in Australia, and the average cost in the U.S. for electricity at the residential level is currently 11.26 cents per KWH, according to the EIA.

This is the link to that GHG multiplier chart from the current Australian Legislation, and while the link will not show up here at Alan's site, you can highlight the link, copy and paste it into the url address line and the image will show up when you search for it.

Just look at some of those multipliers.

http://papundits.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/co2-equivalence-master.jpg

Tony.TonyfromOzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11272988986249451458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-196554259323465442.post-91197293177133767872012-07-25T00:30:18.028-07:002012-07-25T00:30:18.028-07:00Since carbon dioxide is essential for the growth o...Since carbon dioxide is essential for the growth of all green plants, voting for less food availability is downright stupid as stupid as can be.

The EPA is a rogue organization, out to destroy our nation. Intentionally, by the way. Those crazy people want humankind reduced quickly to 5% of the numbers of humankind as of now.

Back when there were "real" scientists in the EPA, they advised the head of the EPA to continue the use of DDT. But William D. Ruckelshaus was a complete nitwit "geenie", and ordered that DDT be banned completely. We are all paying the price of that stupidity as of now

See the "Club of Rome" for more details.LarryOldtimerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10811006386363706079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-196554259323465442.post-13207907481324034192012-07-24T18:25:22.647-07:002012-07-24T18:25:22.647-07:00The Australian federal credit card is currently ma...The Australian federal credit card is currently maxed out at $300 billion. John Howard took 10 years to pay off the previous Labor credit card of $90 billion. Any guess how long it'll take to pay this scandalous debt off when Mr Abbott thrashes Gillard at the next election? At least 20 years. The Australian people just never learn. Just when we had a government which had put the past right, along comes smooth talker Rudd and cons them their vote. Today Australia sits with a Fabian Socialist liar as the Prime Minister, who is only too eager to spend huge dollars on her Union and Green pet projects. The next election has to take place by November 2013, so one can only guess what the credit card will look like by then. In the meantime, Australians work to pay for the carbon dioxide tax we were promised not to get - all for ZERO effect on the global temperature, but good for the government coffers for redistribution to buy their next votes.Lime Litehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15062140213877618320noreply@blogger.com
