Vimeo: Take a Wild Flight Over a Winter Wonderland
Being a pilot myself, at first I was horrified, because flying that close to houses and other structures is a big no-no, and some of those passes through the trees would be outrageous maneuvers with any airplane, even an ultralight. After watching it again though, I finally figured it out ... it appears to be a radio-controlled aircraft of some sort. You can see the shadow on the ground in a couple scenes, and it's quite small. And the scene where it goes through the structure of the crane? Wow ... No normal aircraft would fit through there I don't think. The wonders of modern radios and video links ... amazing! I'm guessing this technology is the civilian spin off from the drone technology our military is using?
