The media and the usual race-mongers made sure that all of America knew about George Zimmerman’s killing of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida on February 26. The local police initially did not arrest Zimmerman because it was an obvious case of self-defense.
There was no such outcry, however, when a month later on March 26 a 50-year-old white man was attacked and beaten with a hammer by two black teens, in Midway, Florida, just six miles from Sanford. The Orlando Sentinel published a description of the attackers, but neglected to mention their race. One of them had just finished a seventeen month prison sentence.
On May 9, the Star-Ledger of Newark, NJ published an article, “Group of 10 or 15 ‘thugs’ rob and beat 5 people following Prudential Center concert, cops say.” There was no reference to their race in the article and when I emailed the reporter for clarification, I received no response.
This kind of double standard is rampant in the reporting of black-on-white attacks and Colin Flaherty, a radio host on WDEL, Wilmington, Delaware, and a writer who has won more than forty awards for his work, has recently published “White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Race Riots to America” that chronicles a trend that is receiving little media attention and one which local police authorities tend to avoid discussing.
The book is not a racist screed. It is the reporting of events.
It is also an appalling record of violence against whites that must be addressed or political correctness will doom any chance of dealing with it. In the introduction to his book, Flaherty writes, “Almost as astonishing as the widespread racial violence is the willingness of people in authority to deny it. Ignore it. Explain it away. Even condone and lie about it.”
The book is a chronicle of black-on-white violence in recent years. “In Chicago,” Flaherty notes, “after weeks of racial violence where the newspapers refused to mention the crime was almost exclusively black gangs on individual whites, the Superintendent of Police said he knew what was causing the violence: Sarah Palin.”
“A member of Congress from Chicago, Bobby Rush, said black violence in Chicago was routine and the only reason anyone was paying any attention to the race riots in downtown Chicago was because it was black on white violence.”
“The riots on the streets of South Philly had ‘no racial component’ and were ‘nothing much’ said the Mayor until events forced him to acknowledge the obvious: black people were taking racial violence to a new level.”
Flaherty says “The deniers fall somewhere in between two points; (on) one hand, they say the racial violence is not happening. On the other, they say it is, but everyone already knows it—and it is happening for a good reason. Sometimes they say both.”
“As I started to unravel the threads of these attacks,” writes Flaherty, “it became clear right away that this was happening all over the country for at least a year or two. And that newspapers were underreporting it—when they reported it at all.”
As the Memorial Day weekend approaches at the end of the month, Flaherty warns about Black Beach Week in Miami Beach and Black Bike Week in Myrtle Beach, Florida, along with Speed Week in Charlotte, North Carolina.
For the past decade the events in Florida “have become the center of the universe of the world’s biggest black beach party. The city doesn’t really host the party. People just show up.” The events are distinguished by “Shootings, assaults on police, mountains of trash, (and) violence against people and property on a scale that can only be called anarchistic.”
These are not isolated events. The pattern was repeated in Indianapolis, Indiana, during its annual Black Expo and in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the several day party that precedes the annual Coca Cola 600, a NASCAR event. In 2011, an estimated 30,000 to 60,000 blacks rioted, resulting in one of the city’s largest mass arrests. Charlotte will be the site of the 2012 Democratic National Convention.
In July 2010, in Milwaukee, some ten to twenty white youths were enjoying a Fourth of July fireworks show when they were set upon by a gang of blacks. In Minneapolis in 2011 more than 800 black people “marauded through downtown followed a few days later by an incident when twenty black women beat a white woman after she confronted them about harassing her child.
In city after city throughout America—Akron, Rochester, Atlantic City, Atlanta, St. Louis, Boston, Seattle, Las Vegas, Detroit, Denver, and even the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., Flaherty documents riots and attacks that can no longer be ignored or seen as isolated events.
It is just too easy to pass this off as “black anger.” It is racism and the Zimmerman-Martin killing is just the tip of the iceberg. Despite decades since the passage of the Civil Rights Act in 1964 that was passed to redress the wrongs of the past against black Americans, some blacks retain a malignant hatred directed against whites.
“The Return of Race Riots to America” portends that the summer of 2012 could reflect this trend. It is a warning to the leaders in both the black and white communities to condemn it and to the nation’s media to do something other than ignore or exploit it.
The reality is that we are going to be hearing a lot more from Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Louis Farrakhan who thrive on such violence, and the real tragedy is that millions of law-abiding black citizens will be branded by such behavior.

I have blogged on and off for the last seven years on my blog about the growing tide of black racism and violence directed against whites - it would appear that I'm no longer a voice crying in the wilderness.
As is well known, the first step in solving a problem is admitting there is a problem - Increasingly, thanks to the work of objective analysis of the patriot bloggers such as yourself, America is waking up to discover that a large minority of blacks are anti-white racists and very violent.
This is a serious issue with the potential to lead to a terrible race war, because whites if they feel threatened by blacks, will "return fire" in massive unprovoked attacks on innocent blacks.
Clearly, the proper response of a rational American government would be to ruthlessly crush all outbreaks of racist violence with an iron fist - lest the bad old days of Jim Crow and the white lynch mob return.
Very interesting. Here we go again.
I remember the early 70's quite well.
As you say, the book is a reporting of the events. As such, fact is fact and the fact is that not only is there a significant increase of black on white assaults that from the President to the DOJ to the MSM is ignored or glossed over as insignificant, there is also a huge increase of black on black crime, something that is not only ignored, but in actuality is around 80% of crimes perpetrated against blacks.
I NEVER leave home unarmed, there is a a reason for that; I am too old and too sick to FIZGHT or RUN from one, but I can still put lead out in an accurate and efficient manner!
If the crowd it too big, they may *take* me, but I will NOT go cheaply...
In the words of Will Sonnett; No brag, just fact!
On Memorial Day 2000, here in Liberal Berkeley, my middle
school aged sons were victims of a brutal bias motivated attack while playing in the local park. We live in a predominately AA neighborhood which suffers from underclass street crime. My 13 year old was repeatedly stomped in the head, his crime was being white. The teens who attacked him used the ruse of joining my sons’ soccer play as the set-up. Their parents encouraged the attack. A local school teacher who witnessed the crime was so afraid of retaliation she did not contact the police for two weeks. Even though the park was full of families no one did anything to stop the violence, call the police or assist my injured child.
The local cops were supportive, they explained to me this style of group beatdowns were referred to as ratpack assaults and had been occurring for decades. They further explained that the city's unofficial policy was to deny the racial bias motivation and avoid any political fallout. The most passionate officers encouraging me to confront the official denial were black.
The following year my son’s friends at Berkeley High were victims of racial violence on campus. The drama was recorded by the offenders with school video equipment. The game was called the boxing game, after selecting a lone freshman male, a box was place on their head, dozens of black teens took turns punching and kicking the target while proclaiming their dominance by yelling slogans of vengeance over the “white slave master”. The school security did nothing; the police finally made arrests of some of the perpetrators caught committing the same act at UCB and the BART station.
I was no longer ignorant of how pervasive these crimes really are. I was profoundly troubled by the immoral complicity of adults in my community, who chose to sacrifice the white victims, the black offenders, and civil society in an unethical attempt to avoid the messy business of racial politics.
I wrote a commentary about the silence in the local paper. I spoke out at a hate crime forum. I became a contact and support person for families of victims. In 2002 and 2005 on behalf of a large group of victims' parents I contacted the DoJ Community Relations Service for assistance. The DoJ CRS mediator was great; they knew about the history of this violence in our community and were prepared to facilitate a community dialog. But it was not going to happen because the Mayor and the School’s Supt would not commit to the process.
The information on the DoJ website about college campus hate incidents accurately describes the psychological motivations of these group assaults.

Mayor Nutter got it right last year making a speech at his church following brutal flash mobs terrorizes downtown, but little we change unless the white victims are given a voice and find justice in a system that has institutionalized racial discrimination against them because of the color of their skin.
Alan - this is the result of pandering and political correctness - and the paternalism that the Left loves to shower on blacks. Blacks now think they can do as they please as they have the media covering for them - it's a well known fact that the media knowingly suppress the race of the perps so as to not alarm the public. When something is reported accurately they vilify it as racist. In Norfolk two reporters were set upon by a group of up to 30 black youths. The newspaper editor they work for refused to publish the incident for 2 weeks, too scared to tell the truth. When some of the teens in the area were interviewed they acknowledge that they attack whites as they're seen as easy targets and it gives them street cred. Having lived in Africa for most of my life I know black nature and this isn't going to get any better. Unfortunately, the PC stick has been used to cower people into a corner and one day when someone does fight back it'll be a racial civil war that will unfold. And of course, it'll be the white man's fault once again.
This phenomenon is not new. I personally witnessed one of these attacks and helped to chase off the "teenagers" (who were all black). This was in 1999, in downtown Oakland. They were right outside their own shchool. This is what happens when our police are sitting on the side of the road with radar guns instead of out on the same streets with the citizens that they are supposed to protect.
the more this sort of thing is swept under the rug, the greater the repercussions will be in the end. This is just beginning. Whites are realy getting very fed up with black on white crime/violence and if someone doesnt do something about these media black outs, it will all come to an explosive head very soon. Perhaps there are those who own and run our media want exactly that.
His writings are really different. When you read the ebook you'll get to see the links of videos and photos. It is not just an ordinary story to read. These are real things that really happened. But it was sad to know that race issue between black and white would gone this bad.. Still, a lesson learned.
And here comes another 4 more years of it.
