Snopes Corrects a Misattribution of a Commentary I Wrote

For the past week or so I have heard from many visitors to this blog and to sites that also post my daily commentaries regarding the misattribution of my January 2nd post, "Obama's Make-Believe Life."

It had shown up on some sites attributed to an Eddie Sessions and was said to have been published in the Wall Street Journal article.

Happily, Snopes.com checked out the truth and published it here

  1. Mr. Aruba, you hit the proverbial nail, right on the head!
Obama is a liar, a racist, a Communist and a completely inept president.
For my money he can't "tamp sand in a rathole"!

  2. I am glad you were heralded the author. Wished Eddie would have said he concurred, but no matter. As Dick said, "...Nail on the head..". He's tossing our money out one door, and charging us more by passing off his farce of a health bill. If there be any beneficial fruit to this dialog, it is the 'peach' in impeachment.

  3. It's ironic that your Google ad on your webpage is touting Obama's gameplan....

  4. I agree, Tripp, but I have no control over the ads.

  5. I also received an email claiming it was written by Eddie Sessions. What struck me as I read it is that, with the exception of the "memoirs", all the accusations could just as easily be levied against George HW Bush, with perhaps a slightly greater degree of appropriateness.

  7. Roh-bear:
By all means BLAME BUSH because you have no other idea nor understanding of the forces at work in the world...one of them killed nearly 3,000 Americans on 9/11...Bush did what Obama will never really do...he recognized the enemy and set about to destroy them.

  8. My biggest issue is with the comments he made about us as Christian Nation. "One of the great strengths of the United States," the President said, "is ... we have a very large Christian population -- we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values."

What the hell? The Courts and entire legal system are based on Christian and Jewish belief. Thou Shalt not(s)...and Jesus' creed.

We always believe that there is room for all in the World. Radical Muslims believe we are only deserved of death.

I say Impeach and Jail the Liar and Thief of our hard earned incomes, and turn those radical counties into parking lots. It'll be easier to get to the oil.

They don't care (see the Twin Towers folks) a damn about us, so why should I care who goes up in smoke, earthquake, Tsunami or Cataclysm there?

  12. Wow!!! that was the best article I have ever read about Red Leader.
This is the same dangerous Marxist who took an oath to uphold our United States constitution that he is now actively trying to dismantle.

  13. Roh-bear wrote "...all the accusations could..be levied against George HW Bush with..greater..appropriateness." Alan Caruba responded "...Bush..recognized the enemy and set about to destroy them." George HW is Bush father. As for his capacity to serve when compared to Barry Hussein Soetoro (the "accusations"), after serving in Congress, Bush father was ambassador to China, ambassador to the UN, director of the CIA and US Vice-President for 2 terms.
Caruba refers to Bush son. Either roh-bear should refer to Bush son, or Caruba respond about Bush father. These two authors have their Bushes mixed-up.

  15. Mr. Caruba,
I too have misgiving about the credibility of our president as I do of most politicians. I was wondering where you get your sources for your commentaries, especially the one that was spread with author name of Eddie Sessions? They give one pause, and I really need to know if it is for good reason? Thanks

  16. @Jovi: Sorry but there is not enough time, nor bandwidth, to list all the various sources for my commentaries. Suffice to say that are recognized publications or websites whose data is realiable.
