And now, the great Buck Owens!



Way back in my youth when I was stationed in the Deep South, this yankee learned to love country-western music and one of the greats of that era was Buck Owens and his singing partner Don Rich. Both are singing in heaven these days, but we can still enjoy them.

Yeah, I just love to listen to him and Don Rich.

Most people came to know him when he was on the television show, "Hee Haw", but Buck was also a shrewd businessman as well. Like Gene Autry he owned a radio station and real estate. Behind that country boy smile was an excellent mind.

I am content, though, just to let him sing.
