A Petition Worth Signing

Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana, a physician, has proposed an amendment that would require congressmen and senators to take the same healthcare plane they would force on the rest of us.

They are currently exempt! You know they don't want to give up their present choice of ten different plans.

On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment that would require all members and their staffs to enroll in any new government health plan.

You can express your support for Cong. Fleming's amendment by signing a petition on his website at http://fleming.house.gov/index.cfm?sectionid=55

Sign up! Let others know about this petition. Fight back!

Thanks for the link, Alan. If Reps & Senators get something other than what most Americans get, maybe it's because they aren't really Americans. Based on their voting records I certainly have strong suspicions about some of them.
